Students’ Employability Skills: Development Strategies

The fundamental transition from the concept of maintaining employment to personnel mobility and employability, as well transformation working environment make case for addressing development students’ employability skills. Job seekers are intended be effective communicators drive own productivity. It is important understand how students perceive skills, which formed during university period. article aims reveal strategies skills development, implemented by master’s doctoral students. These have a long learning experience acquire higher level qualifications. They better prepared employment, but still can face obstacles.The empirical base study consists 50 interviews with Tyumen universities (32 degree 18 students). data were obtained through semi-structured interviews. authors focused on 4 skills: communication, teamwork, self-management, self-control. Three revealed. Active strategy: identify resource, give average self-assessments their provide detailed examples use, analyze mistakes, see opportunities future development.
